Our Schedule
Below is a sample freshman schedule for the 2024-25 school year. Key features of the Nativity schedule include:
Convocation: We gather as a school three mornings per week and begin with a short talk from a student, parent, faculty member or guest who shares a story or a reflection about their faith, career, and life journey.
Mid-day Prayer: Thirty minutes in the middle of the day are devoted to God through either attending Mass or prayer.
Open Block: A 30-minute block after lunch is left open for club meetings, school assemblies, art studio, exercising, or extra study time.
Late Start Wednesdays: Starting late on Wednesdays allows for extra sleep or study time mid-week and gives teachers additional time for planning and meetings. Students who arrive at the normal time have study hall.
Double Blocks: Sciences and Fine Arts have double blocks to allow for deeper exploration of material, labs, and concentrated creative time.
Integrated Service: A full afternoon every other week is set aside for students to serve the community, gain work experience, and be a light to those in need.
This is an example freshman schedule; schedules vary by year in school.
