House System

The house system at Nativity draws on the traditions of British classical education as a way to promote a sense of community and belonging among students, as well as healthy competition and teamwork. The houses foster a strong school spirit, a sense of responsibility, and comradery in one's accomplishments.

Our houses serve as school families. They give our freshman an instant bonded community of sophomores, juniors, and seniors. And they give our upper class students the chance to grow as mentors and pass on the culture of the school and their house.

Each member of the Nativity community (students, teachers and parents alike) is placed into one of four “houses” for their entire experience at Nativity, and beyond. Students earn points for their houses throughout the year for achievements such as academic excellence, participation in events, or acts of service. Recognition is given to houses at the end of the year for their accomplishments.
